Jaguar has long had the image as a “gentleman driver’s” car. Although very comfortable, performance was not really what came to mind when thinking “Jag”….. That has all changed. Jaguar has undergone a complete makeover during the past few years, making cars now that have performance well in sight. The F-Type S is no exception to the new Jag way of thinking. We recently tested our ECU tune for the 2014 Jaguar F-Type S equipped with the 5.0L Supercharged engine. The results were huge! Gains of 40-50wTq and 50-60wHp were seen to the wheels on a 2WD Dyno Dynamics dyno (displayed below). From street testing car, the car pulls extremely strong all the way to redline after tuning. Improvement to drivability makes the car effortless and extremely fun to drive. The vehicle tested was a convertable model, running CA91 premium pump gas with no modifications. The Tune is installed via OBD2 flash. This same powerplant is also shared with Range Rover 5.0L Supercharged models. Range Rover tuning also available.
